GTANET Awards

The reuslts are in for the GTANet Awards and I'm delighted to announce that LCPDFR won 2nd place in the Best Script Mod (GTA IV) category, it is indeed unfortunate that we didn't win however.  Thanks to all 72 of you who voted for LCPDFR, we'll get it next year!

CRIME STATISTICS VIDEO

New Team Member

Hello all! My name is thaCURSEDpie (well, that's my nickname... ;)  ) and I'm a new dev on the LCPD:FR team.

I've been working behind the scenes for a short while and thought this might be a good moment to introduce myself.

I'm an 18 year-old guy from the Netherlands, currently in my last year of high-school, so sadly I cant do as much for the mod as I'd sometimes like to.

LCPD Crime Statistics; More work

We've been working hard to develop this system, and we have a screenshot on how the system is progressing. Statistics are sent as you're playing LCPDFR to the G17 Media webservers. If you think G17 Media is Skynet, you'll also be able to disable statistics reporting in the LCPDFR configuration file. Please keep in mind it is in early stages. Leave us a comment on how it looks. LCPD Crime Statistics

As a nice touch and to promote a bigger sense of community, we're making a system where various events during gameplay of LCPDFR are logged. Basically, the script will detect the number of criminals arrested, officers down, criminals killed, etc. etc. and send this to our web servers which will then display the figures on the website with an interactive interface. We feel that this should bring a really unique and innovative touch to LCPDFR and allow for some awesome new features. As always, we'd love to hear your feedback on this.
